Hello everyone!

I’m Ruth and I love to help people feel good about themselves. I like to think that every person I meet I give them a reason to smile. My passions are being creative whether that be blogging about retro fashion, the history of current fashion, impromptu street fashion interviews (I love finding out why people wear what they do!), or DIY projects.  I find that blogging is very fun and cathartic. My goal is to inspire people to do what they love and follow their hearts and dream BIG!  As someone once said to me, dream Big, start small.  I’m not sure where this journey will take me, as long as I get to share my journey with you.  I love sharing my passions with others who are following their dreams and hearts, or those who need a quick pick me up! Things about me:

I met my husband Greg when I was just 19 years old. We were married on the Big Island of Hawaii on the Kona Coast 6 years later.

We have a beautiful, smart, and creative 11-year-old daughter, Lily.

I have a B.S. in Psychology from Pacific Lutheran University.

I ran a successful baby sign language business called My Smart Hands Tacoma for 10 years.

I love coffee, pizza, and sushi, not necessarily in that order. 🙂

I am a self-taught social media guru; my media of choice is Instagram and Twitter.

I’m scared of snakes but love all other animals.  I had a pet “Raymond” the rabbit who lived to be almost 11 years old.  We currently have an adopted Chihuahua Terrier Timmy who we got in November 2016.  He loves to play and snuggle.
